Web Design
I provide custom web design to showcase your company exactly how you want. All sites are responsive (mobile-friendly). I like to design in WordPress but am happy to work with any web building platform you may already be using such as WiX, Squarespace, etc.
Web Development
Web development refers to the work involved in building the site and connecting all the components necessary for it to go live. I will also develop your content so that your site’s organization flows and informs. Basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is included.
Hosting
Where your site lives. Your website resides at a host much like your house is built on a plot of land. Hosting is FREE for the first year. Domain name registration and transfer services are available for an additional fee.
My Background
I’m an artistic web designer and experienced content developer with a wide portfolio of personally owned websites and professionally managed third party client websites in several industries including restaurant, theme park, construction, and corporate events.
I have an M.A. in English and was a technical writer, editor, and web designer for Sun Microsystems, Netscape, and AOL. Prior to that I taught computer software for corporate audiences and wrote training manuals. I consider myself a patient person and a good teacher, so if you don’t know where to start with your website, I can definitely help you make sense of things.
